PUBLIC NOTICE:- - It is hereby informed to all the concerned applicants those who have been awarded foreign dental qualifications and are willing to apply to DCI for appearing in the Screening Test Examination for the purpose of recognition of their foreign dental qualifications, that the date of Screening Test Examination to be conducted by prescribed authority i.e. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, has been fixed for 2nd April, 2012 and the last date for submission of applications i.e. 2nd March, 2012 has been fixed by the Executive Committee of the DCI. The application form and relevant details alongwith DCI Screening Test Regulations are available in the DCI website i.e. www.dciindia.org and may be downloaded for the purpose. No application after the cut of date i.e. 2nd March, 2012 for the test to be conducted on 2nd April, 2012 shall be entertained. If any application is received after the cut of date, the same may be considered for the next examination which is likely to be conducted in the month of October/November, 2012. Sd/- Offg. Note for the Inspectors - As per the norms of Dental Council of India the Council's Inspectors carrying out Inspection should endorse the status of the Dental College being inspected and not to recommend any matter in their Inspection Report.

Notice - It has come to the notice of the Dental Council of India that some unscrupulous persons including faculty members of Dental Colleges are acting as touts/agents/close associates on behalf of the President & Executive Committee Members of the Dental Council of India and promising favours to the concerned dental colleges. All such colleges and Principals are hereby informed to distance themselves from these self styled agents in their best interest. The Dental authorities are encouraged to spend money towards development of their respective colleges/clinical material/rural service to help poor people rather than encourage such persons.

Public Notice :- In the meeting of the General Body of the Dental Council of India held at New Delhi on 2.4.2011, Dr. Dibyendu Mazumder, Principal, Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College, Kolkata has been elected as a President of the Dental Council of India and Dr. Bharat Shetty Y., has been elected as Member of the Executive Committee of the Dental Council of India.
