NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st September, 1993 No. DE 2293 – In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10A read with Section 20 of the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948), the Dental Council of India with the previous approval of the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations relating to establishment of new Dental Colleges, opening of higher courses of study and increase of admission capacity in Dental Colleges, namely:- 1.(i) Short title and commencement – These regulations may be called the Establishment of new dental colleges, opening of higher courses of study and increase of admission capacity in dental colleges Regulations, 1993. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette. 2. Scheme relating to dental colleges – The scheme referred to in clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 10A of the Dentists Act, 1948 is annexed here
